Using the Prep-Set-Glow setting spray has become a mandatory step in my makeup routine and I thought I would share exactly why I love it so much with you all!

When I’m not wearing make up, my skin can appear rather dull and is quite dry so even on no-makeup days, I use a spritz of this product to make my face look brighter and less tired overall.

Consistency

I have tried setting sprays prior to this and have found with SOME that when you spray the product, the liquid is concentrated at one area causing your makeup to run. However with the Prep Set Glow, the spray does disperse evenly making sure that your makeup does not budge and that the liquid is not causing your foundation to wash off in any way.

Highlighting Tip

Also, I have learnt how this spray is great at intensifying your highlighter. I feel as though this works best if you firstly spray your highlight brush before applying the highlighter. This makes the highlight pop even more, and you won’t even think it can get any brighter. However once you spray the product to set your makeup at the end, you will see how the highlight glows EVEN MORE. I still get so excited when I see the results.

Long lasting makeup

I absolutely used to hate it when I would do an amazing makeup look but by the end of the night it would look as though I wasn’t even wearing any makeup. I was so confused because even after spending money on high-end products, my makeup still would somehow disappear. Learning how to bake with powders to set my makeup and using this spray has really changed everything. My makeup doesn’t only just stay in place but my face stays glowing for the whole day.

Who is this product perfect for?

This product suits all skin types and although the spray does smell rather nice, it is not heavily fragranced like many products which is great for anyone who has sensitive skin like me!

Also if you’re someone who doesn’t like your makeup looking dewy and still want it to appear matte with only a slight glow, then this product is still worth the buy. Just hold the product further away from your face and spray once. That is enough to keep you hydrated the full day, if you still want you makeup appearing matte too.

If you follow me on Instagram/Snapchat then you will know how much I have been OBSESSING over the No7 Instant Results Nourishing Hydration Mask! I feel that many of you would benefit immensely from this product, so thought I would review it for you all.

I have spent so much money on skincare products hoping it would help my dry skin, but many have failed. *Cries* Some are simply not hydrating enough, whereas others irritate my skin when applied.

Either way it is safe to say I have now found my holy grail!

As we can see from the packaging, this mask is made for those who have: Dry/Very Dry Skin.

It is also suitable for sensitive skin.

How to use

The directions on the packaging read:

For Best Results: Sweep generously over clean skin. Relax for 3 minutes, tissue off and rinse away. For a more intensive treat, leave for up to 10 minutes. Can be used 2-3 times weekly.

When I first tried the mask, I left the product on for just 3 minutes, yet my skin felt instantly softer. WHAT MAGIC IS THIS?! Soft skin in 3 minutes, I felt like I was dreaming & someone needed to pinch me. (My sister volunteered of course).

The reason I tried it only for a few minutes is because I was worried about my sensitive skin, however now I feel confident enough to leave the product on for 10 minutes as I know it does not irritate my skin at all.

Results and Overall Thoughts

The truth is in the name because when it says INSTANT RESULTS, it screams INSTANT RESULTS. As soon as I wash off this mask, my skin feels so smooth and there is no dry skin visible.

I can literally feel the moisture locked in my skin and there is a long-lasting natural glow.

My skin is quite problematic to the point that greasy moisturisers can cause my skin to break out and flare. Using this mask 2/3 times a week (depending on how I’m feeling), I have found that I don’t even need to moisturise as frequently because my skin is plump enough.

BYE BYE FLAKEY MAKEUP!

This product has really helped when applying make up also by providing a smoother base. If any of you have dry skin then you know how frustrating it can be when your make up won’t sit on your face properly because of the chapped areas. As this mask makes your skin feel and appear more hydrated, it makes it easier for your foundation to glide onto your skin giving a flawless base! This means that you can wave goodbye to the times your makeup clings to the dry areas of your face.

This product has certainly impressed me and has made me want to try out other products from no7.
